Play Alkaline 1.2 Enabled by Quasco!

Alkaline is a first-person shooter with a central hub that has portals to several industrial bases. Each of these bases are huge levels with unique experiences. You are free to play levels in any order you choose.

In Fienix, Alkaline is enabled by Quasco. Quasco is a Fienix sub-project that allows you to play Quake mods as stand-alone games, even if you don't have Quake installed. All assets in Quasco are licensed FOSS/GPL or Creative Commons. If you're new to playing mods, it can seem overly complicated to get everything set up, but with Quasco you can install popular mods like Alkaline and Arcane Dimensions using Syanptic or apt, just like anything else.

Donations

The Fienix Project is now accepting donations. While I've received offers from several awesome people in the past to make a donation to the project, I've completely self-funded it. At this point additional funding would help address several obstacles.  Any donation, no matter how small, will help to support Fienix and ensure the long-term stability of the project.

See the Donation Page for additional information.
